DHAKA: The elections to reserve women seat will be held at Election Commsion office on March 29.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmed on Sunday announced the schedule of the polls.

The voting will start 9:00am and continue till 5:00pm without any break.

Joint secretary Jesmin Tuli was made returning officer while deputy secretary Mihir Sarwar Murshid will discharge his duty as assistant returning officer.

Senior assistant secretary Farhad Hossain and Senior Assistant Secretary M Shah Alam were made poliing officers.  

CEC said that the names of the candidates have to be proposed to the Election Commission on March 4 and the commission will scrutinize information about the candidates on March 6 and candidates can withdraw their nomination on March 12.
