The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted that the weather will remain dry across the country for the next 24 hours, starting this morning.
According to the BMD's forecast, there will be a temporary partly cloudy sky over most parts of Bangladesh.
A Well-marked low-pressure system in the Southwest Bay of Bengal is affecting the weather. It has strengthened and now covers the central Bay and nearby areas. A trough from this system stretches to the North Bay, while a high-pressure ridge extends over West Bengal and nearby regions.
While the weather will remain dry, the BMD has warned that light to moderate fog may occur in various parts of the country, particularly from midnight to morning.
Temperatures across the country are expected to remain nearly unchanged during the night, though a slight drop in daytime temperatures is anticipated.
On Wednesday, the maximum temperature reached 31.5°C in Bandarban, while the minimum temperature recorded today was 10.2°C in Tetulia.
In the capital, Dhaka, the sun will set at 5:16 PM today and rise again tomorrow at 6:36 AM.
