Bogra:  A farmer was slaughtered on Friday night by some miscreants at Neemgachhi village under Dhunot upazila in the district

The deceased was identified Hossen Shikder, 50.
 
Police sources said Shikder was sleeping in his own house on Friday night.  “In the early hours of the day, miscreants broke into his room and brutally slaughtered him,” they quoted the victim’s family members as saying in narrating the incident.

The family members found his body lying in a pool of blood on the floor in the morning and informed the local police.

Police suspected that the killing happened as a sequel to previous enmity.

A case was filed in this regard with Dhunot Thana
