MYMENSINGH: Three cases have been filed with Trishal Thana following the incident of snatching JMB members away from prison van.

Mentioning six names, Senior Sub-Inspector Mokhlesur Rahman filed the cases early Monday.

Trishal Thana Officer-in-Charge Firoz Talukdar confirmed the matter to banglanews at around 2:30am.

According to the cases, the accused are-death-row convicts Salahuddin alias Salehin alias Sani, 38, Mizan alias Bomber Mizan, 35, Rakib Hasan alias Hafiz Mahmud, 35, microbus drivers Jakaria, 29, Rasel, 32, and Faruk of Jamalpur.

Earlier on Sunday, three death-row convicts of Jama`atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) escaped from a prison van at Trishal upazila in Mymensingh. 
     
A police man was killed and two injured when JMB cadres snatched the prisoners at gunpoint in a daring attack in broad daylight.
