40 gold bars seized at Shahjalal

DHAKA: Customs officials seized 40 gold bars from a bathroom commode in abandoned condition at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Tuesday.

Duty and Detective Commissioner Juyela Khatun told banglanews that they recovered the gold bars worth about Tk 1.60 crore at 11:00am.
