A post on the X handle of the Times Algebra account, claiming that the Bangladesh government has banned Hindus from public jobs, has been labeled as "completely false" by the chief adviser's press wing.

In a statement posted on its verified Facebook account, CA Press Wing Facts clarified today that the government does not discriminate against any citizen based on religion. 

The statement also refuted a false quote attributed to the Home Affairs adviser in the post.
