The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted dry weather with a partly cloudy sky for the next 24 hours, starting this morning.
The forecast, which extends until 9am tomorrow, indicates a ridge of sub-continental high pressure extending to West Bengal, while a seasonal low remains over the South Bay.
Moderate to dense fog is expected across the country from midnight to morning, which may temporarily disrupt air navigation, inland river transport, and road communication.
Temperatures are likely to rise slightly, with the maximum temperature on Saturday recorded at 29.2°C in Srimangal and the minimum today at 9.7°C in Tetulia. The sun will set at 5:26pm today and rise at 6:43am tomorrow in the capital.
