PIROJPUR: US Ambassador in Bangladesh Dan W Mozena said that Bangladesh is a prospective country which can turn its population to manpower and promote the country to a developing one.

The US envoy came up with the observation while addressing a view exchange meeting with government officials of Pirojpur district at local Circuit House Tuesday.

Mozena further said that the huge asset of the country is its people who are hardworking, strong, associated and self-confident.

He also highlighted the hidden resources of the Bangladesh and termed it wealthy.

Moreover, he clearly stated that the US government is concerned about the development of Bangladesh.

Deputy Commissioner of the district AKM Shamimul Haque Siddique presided the meeting.

US Agency for International Development (USAID) mission director Janina Jaruzelski, Additional District Magistrate M Moniruzzaman Talukder and Police Super of the district SM Akhtaruzzaman also spoke.
