LAXMIPUR: At least 25 people were injured as a passenger bus plunged into a roadside ditch in Hajiganj area under Sadar upazila of the district on Tuesday.

Witnesses said that a local passenger bus plunged into a roadside ditch in the area around 6:00pm, leaving at least 25 people injured critically.

The injured were rushed to Ramgati upazila Health Complex and Noakhali Medical College Hospital.

Officer-in-Charge of Ramgati Thana Mokter Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
