DHAKA: Abul Hasan Mahmud Ali and M Nazrul Islam, ruling Awami League lawmakers, took oath as minister and state minister of the incumbent government respectively on Wednesday noon.  

President M Abdul Hamid administered the oath of them at 12noon.  

Election time government’s foreign minister Mahmood Ali, elected from Dinajpur-4, got back his post while the portfolio of M Nazrul Islam Hiro, elected from Narsingdi-1 seat, is yet to be confirmed.

After oath taking program, cabinet will issues gazette notification mentioning portfolio.

Earlier Mahmud Ali performed his duty as foreign minister of the polls-time government.

Lawmaker Shahriar Alam is performing duty as state minister of the ministry.
