DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has announced that her government will extend all possible help to business houses for expansion and growth.
 
She gave the assurance to a Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission delegation which called on her on Wednesday morning.
 
The team, headed by BSEC chairman Dr Khairul Hossain, met the Prime Minister to brief her on the current capital market scenario.
 
The premier said that the government is working on a master plan to establish a modern, sustainable and stable capital market in the country.
 
She added that the government is taking the initiative to construct a separate building for BSRC.
 
The premier said that her government has cracked down on money laundering and taken various other steps to boost the country`s image.
