DHAKA: A Dhaka court ordered to hang Faysal (30), a caretaker of BRAC clinic, for attempting rape and killing of the clinic’s physician Sajida Afrin (27).

Justice ABM Nizamul Haque of Dhaka’s Speedy Trial Court passed the order Wednesday noon.

The convict was brought to the tribunal from jail and the order was passed in front of him.

Tribunal special Public Prosecutor SM Rafiqul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

According to the details of the order, BRAC clinic caretaker Faysal went to the room of clinic’s part time physician Sajida Afrin on November 29 in 2012, when she was on duty.

The court also said, the caretaker tried to rape the doctor but when she tried to escape, Faysal strangled her to death.
