The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted dry weather with a temporary partly cloudy sky across the country for the next 24 hours, starting from 9 am today.

A ridge of sub-continental high pressure extends up to West Bengal and the surrounding areas, while a seasonal low lies over the South Bay, extending its trough to the North Bay.

Light to moderate fog is expected in some areas late at night and in the morning. The night temperature may fall slightly, while the day temperature is expected to remain nearly unchanged.

On Monday, Teknaf recorded the highest temperature at 30.8°C, and Tetulia had the lowest at 09.6°C.

In the capital, the sun will set at 5:32 pm today and rise at 6:43 am tomorrow.
