Polls to Basail Upazila postponed

DHAKA: The election commission has postponed election to Basail Upazila Parishad of Tangail district due to by-poll of Tangail-8 constituency.

Election commission public relations department director SM Asaduzzaman confirmed the matter on Thursday.

The fifth phase upazila election is scheduled to hold on March 31 in 74 upazilas including Basail upazila.
