Construction worker killed in Magura

MAGURA: A construction worker was killed and five others were injured while two went missing as a under construction bridge collapsed at Chapra under Sadar upazila on Jagla-Kuchiamora road on Thursday.   

The identity of deceased and missing could not be known immediately after the incident.

Local sources said that the collapse incident happened while the workers were working at the under construction bridge around 4:30pm, leaving one worker killed, five others injured and two went missing.

The injured were admitted Magura Sadar Hospital in critical condition.
