Voting peaceful in 2nd phase polls: CEC

DHAKA: Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmed claimed the second phase upazila polls held with peaceful manner.  

The CEC came up with the observation while talking to journalists at EC secretariat office on Thursday.  

Kazi Rakibuddin said some stray incidents took place in many polling centres and those were stopped immediately.
 
Allude to, the second phase polls in 115 upazila parishads held earlier in the day amid postponing of 154 voting centres.
