Met office predicts dry weather over country

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted dry weather across the country for the next 24 hours, starting from this morning. The weather is expected to remain dry with a partly cloudy sky.

A ridge of sub-continental high extends to West Bengal and adjoining areas, while a seasonal low lies over the South Bay, extending its trough to the North Bay.

Moderate to thick fog may occur in the northwestern regions, with light to moderate fog expected elsewhere during late night to morning. Fog may continue until noon at various locations across the country.

Temperatures are expected to remain mostly unchanged at night, with a slight rise in daytime temperatures. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 29.7°C in Teknaf, while the minimum was 11.5°C in Tetulia and Srimangal.

The sun will set at 5:38 PM today and rise at 6:42 AM tomorrow in the capital.
