RANGAMATI: Some 23 students were injured as a picnic bus turned turtle in Chitmaram area under Kaptai upazilla of the district on Saturday.

The injured are the students of Chittagong BN School and College.

Local sources said the students carrying bus overturned area around 11:00am as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving 23 students injured critically.

The injured were rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital and other local hospitals.

Officer-in-Charge of Kaptai Police Station Belayet Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
