Media Reform Commission holds meeting with online media editors 

A meeting between the government’s Media Reform Commission and online media editors and publishers was held on Sunday (Feb 3) at the Information Building on Circuit House Road in Dhaka. 

The meeting, which started at 11:00 am, was chaired by Media Reform Commission Chief Kamal Ahmed.

Commission member and Dhaka University’s Mass Communication and Journalism Professor Gitiara Nasreen, along with other officials, attended the meeting.

The government formed the Media Reform Commission three months ago after the political transition to propose necessary reforms for making the country’s media independent, strong, and objective.

Banglanews Editor Lutfor Rahman Himel and Executive Editor Touhidul Islam Mintu, Jago News Acting Editor KM Ziaul Haque, BD News News Editor Zahidul Kabir, Dhaka Mail Executive Editor Harun Jamil, Dhaka News Editor and Publisher Latiful Bari Hamim, AB News Editor Shaheen Chowdhury, and Dhaka Watch Editor Sakhawat Sojib attended the meeting.
