Three young men were killed in a motorcycle accident in Daganbhuiyan Upazila in Feni after their bike lost control and crashed.

The accident occurred around 8:00 pm on Monday (February 3) in the Beker Bazar area along the Feni-Noakhali regional highway.

The deceased were identified as Sourav and Debu, both residents of Companyganj, Noakhali. The identity of the third victim is yet to be confirmed.

According to eyewitnesses, the three were traveling from Feni to Companyganj on a motorcycle when they lost control near Ashrafpur, adjacent to Beker Bazar. The motorcycle veered off the road and crashed into a tree near a sawmill. Moments later, a passing vehicle ran over them, leaving Sourav and Debu dead on the spot.

The third rider sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Feni General Hospital with the help of locals. However, the on-duty doctor later pronounced him dead.

Mahipal Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Harunur Rashid said, "Upon receiving information, police recovered two bodies from the scene. The third victim was taken to Feni General Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Necessary legal proceedings are underway."

Authorities are investigating the accident, and further actions will be taken as per legal procedures, the OC added.
