Protesters storm Sheikh Mujib’s Dhanmondi 32 residence

A large number of students and protesters gathered at the residence of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the capital’s Dhanmondi 32 chanting slogans.

This gathering was part of a pre-announced program on Tuesday (February 5) around 8:00 PM.

At this time protesters broke through the gate and entered the residents.

The protest was organized in response to former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s scheduled virtual speech at an event by the banned organization Chhatra League. 

The demonstrators marched towards Dhanmondi 32 to voice their opposition.
