BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, and Barrister Zaima Rahman participated in the National Prayer Breakfast event in Washington DC on February 6.

Zaima Rahman, granddaughter of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, attended the event as a representative of her father, Tarique Rahman, acting chairman of the BNP.

The event, which brings together prominent political, diplomatic, business, and cultural figures from around the world, began at 7 am and lasted for seven hours. 

It was attended by figures such as President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, senators, members of Congress, and global leaders.

The National Prayer Breakfast is traditionally held on the first Thursday of February each year.
