The Supreme Court of Bangladesh has mandated that all individuals, including lawyers, their assistants, justice seekers, and court staff, must present identity cards to enter the premises.
A circular issued today by Muhammad Habibur Rahman, Registrar of the High Court Division, emphasized the importance of identity cards for ensuring the court’s safety and security.
The circular requests individuals to show national identity cards, passports, or official ID cards to law enforcement officers stationed at the court.
In addition, enhanced security measures have been implemented, with military personnel, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), RAB, and police forces deployed at the court’s main gates and surrounding areas since this morning.
