A total of 1,521 people were arrested in ongoing nationwide drives, including Operation Devil Hunt, from last night until this evening (Feb 10).
Out of the total, 343 persons were detained under Operation Devil Hunt during this time.
Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police Headquarters (Media & PR) Inamur Haque Sagar shared the development on Monday (Feb 10) evening.
During the operation, law enforcers recovered one foreign pistol, two magazines, 11 rounds of bullets, six shotgun cartridges, three knives, three swords, an axe, 10 crude bombs, eight sticks, four iron rods, and four machetes.
Meanwhile, police arrested 1,308 people conducting raids across the country from Saturday night to Sunday afternoon.
The interim government launched Operation Devil Hunt on Saturday to maintain law and order and bring criminals under legal action.
