DHAKA: The third phase of the Swiss government mandated and supported local governance programme ‘Sharique’ was officially launched on Monday.        

The event was held in the Embassy of Switzerland.

Swidish Ambassador to Bangladesh Christian Fotsch inaugurated the programme, said a press release.    

The new phase will be implemented by a consortium comprising the HELVETAS Swiss Interco-operation (HSI) and the Institute of Governance Studies (IGS) of the BRAC University.
