DHAKA: A case was filed against actor Afzal Hossain on charge of beating an employee of Dhaka Reporters Unity.  

DRU employee M Solaiman filed the case with Shahbagh Thana on Sunday night.         

Officer-in-Charge of Shabagh Police Station Sirajul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.  

The case statement reads: On Friday night, actor Afzal Hosain along with others, attacked some DRU employees near Liberation War Museum while they were returning Dhaka from a picnic, leaving six including Solaiman injured.
