Two people were killed and another was injured after an autorickshaw collided with a three-wheeler in Mymensingh's Bhaluka.

The incident happened around 10:30am on Friday (Feb 14).

The deceased were identified as Monir Hossain, 40, and Md Hamid, 30. 

The injured Md Shahjalal, 40, the autorickshaw driver, receiving treatment at the hospital. 

Dulal Chandra Kundu, Sub-Inspector of Bhaluka Model Police Station confirmed the matter.

He said the collision occurred when the autorickshaw, traveling from Gafargaon to Bhaluka, collided with a human hauler coming from the opposite direction, leaving dead both on the spot.

Emergency services and police recovered the bodies following the accident, the official added.
