The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast dry weather across the country for the next 24 hours starting from 9 am today (Feb 16).
According to the BMD, the weather will remain mainly dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky.
A trough of low pressure lies over West Bengal and adjoining areas, while a seasonal low is present over the South Bay, it added.
Light to moderate fog may occur in some areas during early morning hours.
Night and day temperatures are expected to rise by 1-2°C.
The maximum temperature recorded on Saturday was 31.6°C in Sitakunda, while the minimum temperature today was 10.8°C in Srimangal.
The sun will set at 5:54 pm today and rise at 6:30 am tomorrow in the capital.
