DHAKA: A crucial meeting was held between BNP standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed and US ambassador to Dhaka Dan W Mozena on Monday night.

In the parley, they discussed important bilateral issues, including present political situations in the country.

During the two-hour long meeting, Moudud’s release from jail was discussed.   

It is the first meeting of Moudud after he was released from jail. Earlier when Moudud were in hospital Mozena had visited him.  

The sudden meeting of BNP top leader created much interest in the country’s political arena.
