PM returns home from Myanmar

NAY PYI TAW, MYANMAR: After two-day visit to Myanmar for attending summit of Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) in Nay Pyi Taw, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned Dhaka on Tuesday night.       

A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying the premier arrived at Shahjalal International Stadium at 9:10pm leaving the Myanmar capital at 7:40pm (Bangladesh time).   

Sheikh Hasina reached Myanmar on Monday morning to attend the 3rd BIMSTEC Summit.  

BIMSTEC is an international organization involving a group of countries, Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Bhutan and Nepal, was formed in 1997.
