Govt publishes list of 1,401 'July Warriors'

The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs has officially recognized 1,401 individuals injured during the July mass uprising as 'July Warriors' through a gazette notification issued on Thursday.

Among them, 493 critically injured individuals are listed under 'Category A', while 908 seriously injured fall under 'Category B'. 

The gazette, signed by Deputy Secretary Haridas Thakur, includes medical case IDs, names, parents' names, and permanent addresses of the severely injured protesters.

Earlier, on January 15, the ministry published a gazette listing 834 martyrs from the mass uprising.
