MYMENSINGH: Two people were killed in a clash over property boundary at Nandail upazila in the district on Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Hasim Uddin, 60 and Abdus Sattar, 50.

Officer-in-Charge of Nandail Model Thana Saiful Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He also said: “There was a longstanding dispute over property boundary between Abdul Motaleb and Abdul Haque of Nayapara village of the upazila.”

On Tuesday night, at one stage of altercation, two groups locked into a clash that left Abdus Sattar and Hasim Uddin, who went to stop the clash, injured critically, he added.

Local people rushed them to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) and Kishoreganj Hospital.

Abdus Sattar succumbed to his injuries at MMCH on Tuesday night.

On the other hand, Hasim Uddin was shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctors declared him dead on Wednesday afternoon.
