MYMENSINGH: Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident at Fulpur upazila of the district on Thursday noon.

The deceased were identified as Sumon Talukder, 22, son of Hamid Talukder, and his paternal cousin Eti, 14, daughter of Hashem Bapari of the upazila.

Officer-in-Charge of Fulpur Thana Shamsul Alam told banglanews that a Haluaghat-bound passenger bus knocked Sumon and Eti in Imadpur area of the upazila, leaving them injured.

Local people rushed them to Fulbari Upazila Health Complex where the on duty doctor declared them dead, he added.

OC Shamsul Alam also said they seized the bus though the driver managed to flee the scene.
