Inspector General of Police (IGP) Baharul Alam has warned against blocking roads in the name of protests, as it will cause suffering for people traveling ahead of Eid.

IGP made said this while talking to reporters on Thursday (March 13) after attending a special welfare meeting at the Industrial Police-2 office in Gazipur.

He said such actions would not be tolerated, and strict measures would be taken against those involved.

The IGP urged public to support the police and not see them as opponents. 

He also requested that no one attack the police and instead allow them to serve the country.
