DHAKA: Awami League Presidium Member Suranjti Sengupta opined that the dialogue between BNP and the government could be held in three conditions.
He came up with the assertion while addressing a mass rally at Suhrawardy Udyan organized by Awami League on Friday afternoon.
Aiming BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) president and former President Prof AQM Badrudozza Chowdhury, Suranjit said, “If you want dialogue, first you have to accept that Bangabandhu as proclaimer of independence, father of nation and the incumbent government is elected and legitimate government.”
He said that on March 7, Bangabandhu declared the independence. BNP have to abide by the spirit and independence of the country and they have to stop arms and gold smuggling.
