DHAKA: Police recovered five hides of different animals including tiger and bear and huge arms and ammunitions and narcotics from city’s Banani area on Sunday morning.

The law enforcers, however, nabbed five including two women in this connection.

Acting on tip off, police raided at a house in Banani and recovered five foreign-made pistols, two air-guns, four petrol bombs, many pieces of knives and local and foreign-made narcotics.

Police also recovered hides of tiger, bear, crocodile and deer.

Three, out of nabbed five, are Afsara Rashid, Tushar and Moshiur Zonayed Mohammad Salam.

Banani Thana Officer-in-Charge Bhuiyan Mahbub Hossian confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said that they will continue their operations and interrogate the detained persons.
