Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus will join the Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the National Eidgah ground at 8:30 am on Eid day.

Later in the day, at 4 pm, he will greet dignitaries and individuals from various sectors at his office in Tejgaon, as part of the Eid celebrations, according to CA’s Deputy Press Secretary Abdul Kalam Azad Majumder.

Meanwhile, the National Moon Sighting Committee will convene this evening (March 30) to determine the sighting of the Shawwal moon and confirm the date of Eid-ul-Fitr in Bangladesh.

The meeting, scheduled for 6:30 pm after Maghrib, will be held at the Islamic Foundation’s conference room at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.
