DHAKA: Newsroom Editor of banglanews24.com Mahmudul Islam Roni was buried at Mohammadpur Central Graveyard in Magura beside his mother’s grave on Monday evening after largely attended funeral.
His Namaz-e-Janaza was held at his village home Jangalia at 7:00pm where thousands of people took part.
Earlier in the afternoon, his body was reached at his village and a heart breaking situation came into sight.
Roni died of a massive heart attack this morning. He was 25.
Mahmudul Islam breathed his last at Apollo Hospitals in the capital around 7:30am.
Colleagues said Roni, on his way to office, covered news of a road accident in capital’s Banani area and attended office early Monday.
At one stage, he felt sever pain in his chest while he was working in the office.
Later, colleagues rushed him to adjacent Apollo Hospitals and he was kept on life support.
Mahmudul Islam left behind a child and wife and numerous well-wishers.
Roni completed his master’s degree from Islamic University in Kushtia and joined banglanews in 2013.
Banglanews Editor-in-Chief Alamgir Hossain expressed deep shock at the early death of Mahmudul Islam Roni.
Alamgir Hossain as well as banglanews family expressed their heartfelt sympathy to his bereaved family.
