DHAKA: A boy drowned and another wounded while they were taking bath in Crescent Lake, near Chandrima Udyan, of the city on Tuesday afternoon. 
 
The deceased was identified as Nahid, 14, and the injured was identified as Monir, 18. 
               
Sources said around 3:30pm the duo drowned in Crescent Lake, adjacent to Parliament Bhaban. Hearing screaming, locals rescued Monir. 
     
Later, divers rescued Nahid’s body in floating condition.
 
Ruhul Amin, Sub-Inspector of Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station, confirmed the matter to banglanews.
