DHAKA: Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) has approved seven new projects involving Tk 3190 crore.

The approval came from a meeting of the ECNEC held at NEC conference room at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the city on Tuesday with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also ECNEC Chairperson, in the chair.

Of the expenditure, Tk 631 crore will be funded by the government and the rest will be accumulated by other sources of ECNEC.

Finance Minister AMA Muhith along with others was present at the meeting.

The Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal confirmed the matter to banglanews.
