Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) A M M Nasir Uddin is set to leave for Thailand on Friday (April 11) for a personal trip.

The information was confirmed by the CEC’s office on Thursday (April 10).

According to an official order signed by Election Commission Deputy Secretary Md Shah Alam, the CEC will travel with his wife Shaheen Ferdousi, daughter Tasnima Nasir Uddin, and grandchildren Juhaina Rizwan and Arshan Rizwan.

He is scheduled to return on April 19. The entire cost of the visit will be borne by him personally.
