A 4.0 magnitude earthquake was felt in various parts of the country, including the capital Dhaka on Friday (April 11).
The tremor was felt at 4:52 PM according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
The met office said the epicenter was located near Brahmanbaria district, around 105 kilometers from Dhaka.
The department is currently working to gather more information about the earthquake.
However, no damage or casualties have been reported so far.
