SYLHET: Three people, including a physician, allegedly committed suicide at Shamimabad in the district on Wednesday.                

The deceased were identified as Joy Goshami, Dipu, 26 and his sister Jenny, 24, hailed from Jamalganj upazila of Sunamganj district.      

Police suspects Joy allegedly committed suicide by taking sleeping pills over his marriage dispute with his father in the afternoon.         

After the incident, Dipu and Jenny were found hanging at their house in the evening.

Officer-in-Charge of Kotwali Thana Ataur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
