SAVAR (DHAKA): A readymade garment worker was slaughtered after raped by miscreants in Bhatpara area of the district on Thursday morning.

The victim was identified as Alpana Akter, 22, a RMG worker and tenant of the area.

Police sources said that a gang of miscreants stormed into the room of Alpana in the morning and slaughtered her after a sexual coercion.

Miscreants chopped Alpana’s mother mercilessly when she obstructed the heinous act, leaving her critically injured.

On information, police recovered the body and rushed the victim’s mother to Enam Medical College Hospital.
Officer-in-Charge of Savar Police Station Mostofa Kamal confirmed the matter to banglanews.
