The met office has forecast rain or thundershowers with lightning and gusty winds in a few areas of Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, and at one or two places elsewhere across the country over the next 24 hours, starting from 9:00am today.

Weatherman Shahanaj Sultana said that both day and night temperatures may rise slightly during this period. 

Rainfall activity is expected to increase over the next five days, according to a met office bulletin.

On Saturday, Baghabari in Rajshahi recorded the highest temperature at 34.4°C, while Tetulia in Rangpur experienced the lowest at 19.6°C today. 

In Dhaka, the sun will set at 6:22pm and rise at 5:32am tomorrow.
