Head-on-collision kills 1, hurts 6

DHAKA: A man was killed and six others injured in a head-on-collision between a bus and a truck in Paltan area of the city early Tuesday.

The identity of the deceased and injured could not be known immediately.

Police sources said that a passenger-carrying bus collided with a truck in the area around 3:00am, leaving one killed and six others injured.

Confirming the matter, Paltan Thana Sub-Inspector Shahadat Hossain told banglanews, “The injured were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.”
