DHAKA: Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Advocate Anisul Haque claimed that the report of Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) is biased.

The law minister came up with the observation while talking to journalists after a meeting with Norwegian Ambassador to Bangladesh Merete Lundemo at secretariat on Tuesday.

Addressing the report, he said the TIB has prescribed to hold a new parliamentary election to make the parliament effective.

He criticized the absence of BNP in parliament in last period of the parliament.

The senior lawyer of the Supreme Court also highlighted the conversation with Norway envoy where they discussed on preventing illegal migrants to Norway and increasing investment to Bangladesh in technological and power sector.
