RANGPUR: Two men were killed in a road crash in Mirbagh area under Kaunia upazila of the district on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as driver of the trolley Sujan Kanto, 25 and helper Milon Mia, 27, residents of Singarkura Bahagili of the upazila.

Police sources said that a potato-laden trolley turned turtle as its driver lost control over steering in the area in the afternoon, leaving the driver and helper dead on the spot.

The bodies were sent to Rangpur Medical College Hospital morgue.

Officer-in-Charge of Kaunia Thana Abdul Latif confirmed the matter to banglanews.
