11,785 more KNF uniforms recovered in Chattogram

Members of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) have recovered 11,785 uniforms believed to be linked to the armed group Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF) from a warehouse in Chattogram.

The raid was conducted on Monday night at a storage facility in the Noyahat area under Bayezid Bostami Police Station.

However, no police officials were willing to make an official statement to the media regarding the recovery.

According to a police source, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed that the uniforms are suspected to be intended for the KNF, a militant group operating in the hill tracts.

Earlier, on May 17, detectives recovered 20,300 similar uniforms from Ringvo Apparels in the same area. Later, three people, including the factory owner, were arrested.
