Five Eid-ul-Azha congregations at Baitul Mukarram 

The holy Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated across the country on Saturday (June 7). Marking the occasion, five Eid congregations will be held in phases at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, according to the Islamic Foundation.

The first congregation will begin at 7:00 am, to be led by Dr Khalilur Rahman Madani, Principal of Tamirul Millat Kamil Madrasa in Jatrabari, Dhaka. Md Abdul Hadi, a khadem of the mosque, will serve as the mukabbir.

The second congregation is scheduled for 8:00 am. It will be conducted by Dr Maulana Abu Saleh Patwari, a mufassir at the Islamic Foundation, while Md Nasir Ullah, another khadem of the mosque, will act as the mukabbir.

The third congregation will take place at 9:00 am, with Dr Mushtaq Ahmed, editor at the Translation and Compilation Department of the Islamic Foundation, as the imam. Md Billal Hossain will serve as the mukabbir.

The fourth jamaat will be held at 10:00 am. Mufti Md Abdullah of the Islamic Foundation will lead the prayers, while Md Amir Hossain will act as the mukabbir.

The fifth and final congregation is scheduled for 10:45 am. Maulana Mohammad Noor Uddin, a language teacher at the Religious Dawah and Culture Department of the Islamic Foundation, will lead the jamaat. Md Zahirul Islam will serve as the mukabbir.

If any of the designated imams are unable to attend, Maulana Md Shahidul Islam, Assistant Librarian of the Islamic Foundation, will lead the prayer as the alternate imam. Md Ruhul Amin will serve as the alternate mukabbir.

Eid-ul-Azha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is one of the most significant religious festivals observed by Muslims worldwide.
